Terry and letting Lowrie hit…
July 19th, 2008 by czar

Bases loaded, tying run on second, two outs in the eighth inning versus the LAAAAA.  Sean Casey rots on the bench as Lowrie whiffs…

I still need an explanation as to how you just leave a lefty with a 133 OPS+ (in sparse playing time admittedly, but hey, he’s just pinch hitting!) on deck with a rookie SS who had a .268 BA at Pawtucket this year at the plate.

Un-f*cking-believable. Casey better be hurt. We had to suffer through Lugo batting in clutch situations with Casey still available and it looks like that trend is going to f*cking continue.

  • Traversing the land that is known as Red Sox Nation, The Czar Who Wears Red Sox is an attempt at compiling a repertoire of my ever-so-sexy forum posts (when I'm too lazy to write my own damn entry) and other random baseball thoughts that strike. For those whose posts serve as the inspiration of my epiphanies and rants, do not be angry, but merely, be honored that you have achieved such status. Names will never be revealed.
