Our CF for Texas’ C?

Can we move Coco Crisp plus another prospect (Bowden/Lowrie/Masterson/etc.) for Jarrod Saltalamacchia since they have Laird in the system as well?

I would have to assume that if Salty was remotely available to other teams, someone could (and would) easily top Crisp/Bowden for him.

Crisp would not be a centerpiece in a Salty deal, I think you’d start at Buchholz+ or Lester+ (+ being someone like a Jed Lowrie or a Jacoby Ellsbury, not a Coco Crisp) if someone bought into game 4 of the WS.

Laird is easily the more likely one to be moved– he’s still only 28 as of the 2008 season, and could fetch a mild return for the Rangers while allowing them to play their future star full-time behind the dish.
